Mission
To prevent perinatal hepatitis infection in infants.
What we do

Offer screening, referral, and case management services for pregnant women and new mothers infected with chronic hepatitis B or hepatitis C virus.

Partner with Women and Infant's Hospital, Hasbro Children's Hospital, and the VNA of Care New England.

Provide free at-home nurse visits to pregnant women and new mothers to educate about hepatitis, breastfeeding, nutrition, and information about community resources such as the Women, Infants, and Children Program (WIC).

Coordinate care for women with hepatitis B virus and their infants to ensure they complete the hepatitis B vaccination series, and, to recommended immunity testing.

Follow the infants born to women with hepatitis C virus to ensure recommended testing for hepatitis C virus is completed.
