Mission
To further educate our stakeholders in accredited ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 forensic science practices, procedures, and results.
What we do

Conduct training in evidence collection techniques for biology/DNA/CODIS, controlled substances, and toxicology both in groups at the laboratory and instruct officers enrolled in the Criminal Evidence: Scientific Investigation course at the University of Rhode Island.

Train law enforcement officers in the areas of instrument operation, relevant laws, regulations and operational protocols, and drug recognition in motor vehicle operators at state and municipal police academies.

Ensure operation with procedures and practices that adhere to the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 International Standard and the FBI’s DNA Quality Assurance Standards for Casework and Databasing Laboratories
